Post Anthropocene Thinking

Excited to share a project we've been working on which examines the waste generated during production and the end-of-life of garments in the context of the Anthropocene, an era defined by significant human impact on Earth.

The first part of the project highlights the urgency of addressing our waste, featuring images of discarded textiles as a reminder of our resource-intensive habits.

The second part explores textile technology company, WEFFAN, which redesigns how clothes are made using 3D weaving technology, weaving away waste for the fashion industry.
